Sodium palmate has several benefits that enhance your skincare routine. Sodium palmate „lifts“ oils, dirts and other impurities off of the skin so that they can be washed away. It’s known to be gentle and good for lots of different skin types. It is a type of sodium salt that is derived naturally from the fatty acids found in palm oil. It is made in a process called saponification and is used as one of the main ingredients in bar soaps. It has been used for skin hygiene for centuries. Sodium Palm Kernelate is used as a natural skin cleanser. It can help to lock in the moisture of your skin and is suitable for even extremely sensitive skin types. Together with Sodium Palmate it is used as a main ingredient in bar soaps. Sodium palm kernelate is the sodium salt of palm kernel acid. It is also made using a saponification process with palm kernel oil, which is obtained by extracting oil from the kernel or seed of the palm, the same plant which provides palm oil.
